• Our Services

  Bed & Bone Too is a pet facility like no other. We are NOT a kennel. We are your dog's home away from home, a canine inn set up so your dog has as much fun on vacation as you do! Through our taxi service, daytime and overnight boarding options, we ensure dogs of all sizes and breeds have the least disruption from their normal routines as possible. Bed & Bone Too provides the following high-quality services for dogs and their owners 365 days per year. Please contact us for pricing.

  • Daycare and Overnight Boarding

    We care for dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. We provide short-term and long-term, daily and overnight care.

  • Pet Taxi

    We pick up and drop off dogs, Sun. through Fri., in a large area surrounding our facility, which includes the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area as well as St. Cloud.

  • Baths

    We provide on-site baths

  • Grooming

    We have relationships with local groomers, and can take your dog to be groomed. This needs to be planned prior to boarding.

  • Payments

    Invoices must be paid in person by check or cash when picking up your dog. You can also pay online by entering your invoice number and amount owed.

    Leaving your dog while traveling can be difficult, so it’s important to know we are trained dog lovers and caretakers who ensure a positive experience.

  • Before reserving a spot (new clients only)

    For clients and their dogs that have yet to board at Bed & Bone Too, we require you both come for a pre-boarding visit. All visits are done by APPOINTMENT ONLY, please call to schedule a tour. Bed & Bone Too has a scheduled routine including feeding and playing. Because of this we make appointments for visits giving our guests the attention they deserve. Thank-you for showing us that respect.

  • Making a Reservation

    Reservations can be made online (24 hours per day), by telephone (between 9am-7pm), or in person. Please note: available spots during holidays fill quickly, so make your reservations early. We require a deposit to hold your holiday reservation.

  • Prior to Coming

    After you’ve reserved a spot, it may help to “ready your dog” by discussing the stay.

• Our Visiting Hours

  • Monday-Friday: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

  • Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

  • Sunday: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

• Arrival and Departure

  Whether you bring your dog to Bed & Bone Too or use our taxi service, we have compiled hints and need items to make the process work smoothly.

  • Plan plenty of time for drop off, or arrange a pick up that allows for a non-rushed event.

  • When using the taxi, tell us if your dog is prone to car sickness. Fasten their collar before entering, so it fits loosely but properly.

  • Double check that all needed items are included, ready and labeled.

  • Leash your dog during drop off.

  • Remind staff of your dog’s medical or behavioral issues, or changes in feeding.

  • Although it’s hard to part with your dog, a quick goodbye and pat on the head works much better than a long, emotional sendoff.

• Required Items

  Bed & Bone Too needs the following items sent with your dog:

  • Food- labeled with your dogs name and the times and amounts they are fed

  • Proof of immunizations

    Required vaccinations are Rabies, Distemper, Kennel Cough (Bordatella), and Flea & Tick (over-the-counter and/or flea collars are not accepted). Lyme is recommended but not required.

  • Necessary medications with written administering instructions.

  • Enrollment Form (new clients).

  In addition: Before boarding your dog for an extended period, some find it helpful to plan a shorter stay. This helps accustom a dog to the boarding experience, and brings to light any concerns.
